Safer Workspaces
March 17, 2021 - Equity was joined by James Turk from Ryerson's Centre for Free Expression to discuss findings from their Harassment and Discrimination in Canada's Live Performance Industry report. Equity Councillors Kerry Davidson and Jennifer Wigmore gave a presentation on Equity's improved Complaint and Disciplinary Process. The meeting also included a panel discussion with special guests Kate Cornell from Aftermetoo and Grégoire Gagnon from the Cultural Human Resources Council to discuss how we can collectively improve on standards of respect and safety in our workspaces.
