Life Membership will be presented to Bill Millerd, retiring Artistic
Director of the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver and Chick Reid,
Ontario-based actor and acting teacher at Queens University.
The CAEA Award of Distinction will be presented to The AFC (formerly the Actors' Fund of Canada) a longstanding national organization that offers short-term emergency financial assistance to live performance arts workers (and well beyond) and Lisa Brown - founder and director of the Workman
Arts Theatre in Toronto creating performance for and with survivors of mental illness.
This year's Stage West-Equity Emerging Artist Award will also be presented on February 26th. |
