Equity is excited to announce the launch of its new Member Orientation Session. The two-hour course is meant to provide participants with an understanding of Equity’s core responsibilities, an overview of how collective agreements work, a summary of their benefits, and an awareness of their rights and responsibilities as members of the Association.

While the seminar is designed as an introduction to Equity for newer members of the Association, long-standing members and apprentices are welcome to register and attend as well. The seminars will be held online periodically throughout the year, delivered by Equity staff.

“Equity is first and foremost a member-run organization. We are an incredible community of 5,000+ like-minded artists who can accomplish great things by working together. The more that our members understand how Equity works and how important their involvement is, the stronger Equity becomes,” said Equity Council President, Scott Bellis. “I encourage everyone to sign up and learn more about their Association.”
