As an Equity member for over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working on CTA contracts regionally and nationally, touring contracts in Canada and internationally, and festival contracts. This breadth of experience has given me valuable insight into the challenges our members face across various sectors. I am passionate about advocating for supportive spaces that foster brave conversations, which inspired me to co-found Ground Floor Team with fellow actors, a business dedicated to consulting and educational practices around conflict transformation.
In the next three years, I believe it is crucial to advocate for safer working conditions, mental health resources, and fair contracts. Ensuring that educational resources are available so that new members are just as informed about their rights as longstanding ones is another key priority for me.
My passion for creating positive change in our industry and empowering our members is what drives me to run for councillor. I am eager to represent your interests and ensure that we continue building a more equitable and supportive community for all.
