With nearly 30 years as a professional stage actor (24 as a member), I have a strong understanding and appreciation for the variety of rewards and challenges a member of CAEA may experience.
From my perspective, all of the important issues we need to address boil down to the same thing: establishing and enshrining the actor (along with the audience) as the only truly indispensable component of live theatre, and accordingly, ensuring for us the safety, security and respect that we deserve.
I would consider it an honour to be given the responsibility of representing the Manitoba/Nunavut membership in this pursuit.
