I’ve been a proud member for 20+ years, working coast-to-coast under the spectrum of agreements. As an industry advocate, I have participated in collective bargaining, collaborated with sister organizations, and generally jumped in where opportunities exist – or can be made – to advance equity and reform in the live performing arts.
It’s been my privilege to serve on Council for three terms, collaborating with tireless colleagues to govern through some tricky times (not over!). I’ve contributed on committees (incl. Member Education, Mental Health & Wellness, Respectful Workplaces), represented Equity on FIA’s Racial Equality and Ethnic Diversity Working Group and the PACT-Equity Joint Article 10 Committee, and spearheaded the first Equity Census. (Stay tuned for the reboot in 2025.)
It’s been deeply satisfying to help members understand their rights, access resources, and resolve (or avoid) problems. It would be my honour to continue that commitment: representing Quebec in the important work of OUR association and making membership relevant and beneficial for ALL.
In a world strained by genuine hardship and unhelpful polemics – out there and in our communities – I’m inspired by the artists who promote dialogue and understanding.
I offer you respect, experience, continuity, and a listening ear.
Sleeves still rolled up!
