The intersections of my identity will make me an effective member representative. I'm a human who is queer, neurologically diverse, living with and adapting to life with a mental illness. As an Intimacy director, I work with policies and adapt my process to the specific needs of actors and productions. I have experience with disclosures, reporting structures, and of course advocacy.
Diversity and Inclusion will continue to require our care and attention both nationally and regionally over the next three years. A human-centered focus, with an understanding of how to create environments that allow for all the intersections of our performers, directors, and team’s identities.
I love being part of a team working towards the same goal. I have received so much from the community and I'd love to give back by contributing to committees that shape our policies. Thereby helping folks work comfortably, in the smallest scope, and thrive, grow, and soar in the largest. With a particular understanding that as we age it is increasingly likely that we will experience disability in our lifetime. I’m passionate about creating environments that offer a greater understanding of access needs, and adaptations to support our membership physically, mentally, and culturally.
