2024 Election Results
Canadian Actors' Equity Association is pleased to announce the results of the Council election and its 2025-2027 Equity Council.
Elections were held in six regions, while eight candidates were acclaimed in seven other regions. The newly formed leadership will take office at their first meeting on January 26 and 27 and election of the available officer positions will take place at the same meeting.

Election FAQ
Regular, Life and Regular - Extended Visa members of Equity in good standing by the enumeration deadline (November 21) are eligible to vote in the 2024 Council elections.
Voting instructions and access to your ballot will be sent to all Equity members eligible to vote on November 12 for members with an EMAIL communication preference, or on November 6 for members with a MAIL communication preference. Voting for the 2025-2027 Council term will be online or by telephone only. Voting opens November 12 and closes on November 28. Only those votes cast prior to 3:00 p.m. ET on November 28 will be counted. The election results will also be announced by
email, social media and on caea.com on November 28, 2024.
For member security and confidentiality, voting takes place through an external election platform, ElectionBuddy. Your voting instructions and access to your ballot can only be found in your voter information email or mail.
If you are a Regular, Life and Regular - Extended Visa member in good standing, registered in an electoral region where an election is taking place, and have not received a ballot by November 12, please contact
communications@caea.com.
Members can vote for candidates in their registered electoral region only, which reflects either the member's permanent address or the member's discipline (if involved in Opera, Dance, or Stage Management). To view your current electoral region and/or request a region change, log in to review your membership profile and select 'Update your Region/Discipline'. The last day to select an alternate electoral region prior to the 2024 Council election is October 3, 2024. If you have made a bona fide move to a new permanent address in a different electoral region, please email
elections@caea.com to update your region.
