National Arts Centre/David Mirvish co-production

Tomson Highway's award winning play (Chalmers, finalist for Governor General's best new drama, four Dora awards, including one for Doris Linklater as best female featured role) was originally co-produced by Theatre Passe Muraille and Native Earth Performing Arts, where Highway was AD from 1986-92. Native Earth is the oldest Native professional performing arts organization in Canada, dedicated to creating, developing and producing professional artistic expression of the Aboriginal experience in Canada.
